Your task

As a Risk Manager, you support our company-wide risk management activities, further develop the framework and the internal control system, and help ensure that regulatory requirements are implemented effectively. You analyse and assess risks, derive appropriate mitigation measures and work closely with risk owners, specialist departments, internal audit and the external auditor.   • Further development of the company-wide risk management framework.
  • Coordination and management of regulatory requirements.
  • Exchange with internal interfaces, for example internal audit, and the external auditor.
  • Analysis and assessment of risks within the risk management process.
  • Mitigation of risks through the initiation and implementation of countermeasures in close coordination with risk owners.
  • Maintenance and continuous development of the internal control system (ICS).
  • Close collaboration with managers from the specialist departments to effectively integrate new legal and regulatory requirements.

Your profile

  • Experience in the compliance environment: You have solid professional experience in risk management, compliance or anti-money laundering and are familiar with BaFin-regulated institutions.
  • Qualification: You have a completed degree in law or business law.
  • Working style: You work in a goal-oriented and independent manner and enjoy taking responsibility. You always keep your strong service mindset in focus.
  • Communication skills: You are able to explain complex topics clearly to different target groups, whether in very good German or in English.
  • Software skills: You have very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally also experience with Confluence and Jira.
  • Team skills: You enjoy working cross-functionally, can bring together different perspectives and guide stakeholders through decision-making processes.
  • Responsibility and team spirit: You handle sensitive data responsibly, contribute new ideas and enrich the team with fresh input and commitment.
