Data Scientist (m/w/d) – Fintech Data Intelligence

Your task

  • You develop data-driven financial products based on financial data, in particular transaction data from online banking, within our development team.
  • You analyze transaction data in an exploratory manner and confidently classify their technical and linguistic characteristics.
  • You develop statistical and machine learning models, creating the foundation for Data Intelligence use cases and new financial products.
  • Together with the Data Engineer, you build and continuously develop our data infrastructure within the cloud.
  • You support our developers in the implementation of new financial products and contribute your understanding of modern development and data methods.
  • You work closely with product management, gather functional requirements, and support decision-making through targeted data analyses.

Your profile

  • Experience: You have solid professional experience in Data Science and ideally you have already worked in a Fintech environment.
  • Qualification: You hold a degree in mathematics, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on data science.
  • Skills: You have strong skills in Python and SQL, are confident working in the AWS environment, for example with Amazon SageMaker, and have already gained practical experience in software development.
  • Working style: You have strong analytical skills, work in a structured manner, and enjoy taking responsibility for your tasks.
  • Interest: You are interested in the Fintech market, are technically minded, and are motivated to work in virtual and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Communication: You communicate clearly and in a structured way in both German and English and explain technical topics in an understandable manner to different audiences.
  • Responsibility and teamwork: You handle sensitive data responsibly, contribute new ideas, and enjoy working as part of a team.
